What Are Fascias and Soffits?
Your fascias and soffits form the roofline of your home. The fascia is the board fixed to the ends of the rafters, which supports your guttering. The soffit is the panel beneath it, enclosing the gap between the roof edge and the wall.
Together, they protect the roof structure from rain, wind and pests, and ventilated soffits allow air to circulate through the loft, reducing the risk of damp and condensation. They also give the property a clean, finished appearance.
